Most of us nowadays look forward to a long weekend. Some just wanted to have a good rest at home and others to take advantage of the long break from work to travel.
Last August, me and my college friends had a random roadtrip up north to Baler, Quezon. Our objective was to go surfing in Sabang Beach since the last time we traveled Sa Juan, La Union, it barely had a wave we could ride on. Unfortunately, in Baler, our timing yet again was another failure! Haha! The sea was so peaceful. Not a perfect time to have extreme surfing. We figured out that the perfect months for surfing in Baler is between September to February. So instead of staying in our hotel, we decided to just enjoy what Baler could offer. After all, we traveled almost 6-hours just to reach our destination.
The low-tide and sunny weather was perfect for some Instagram worthy pictures.
We explored Dicasalarin Cove and spent a couple of hours to enjoy the white sand and clear water. There was an entrance fee of P300.00/head and a discounted rate of P150/head for Costa Pacifica visitors.
Random roadtrips are the best! More often than not, it will materialize than a well planned trip 😛
This peanut butter by “Nanay Pacing” is worth a try! Finding the store though was like an easter egg hunt! Haha 🙂
